Things to CAREFULLY CONSIDER before you register:
- The Weather Flex Option™ is the ONLY way to transfer between races any time up to packet pickup. Choose Weather Flex BEFORE you register. You cannot upgrade to the Weather Flex Option™ after you have registered.
- There are no registration refunds or runner transfers for any reason. Training for and running an endurance event is a commitment that you should think carefully about before you register.
- All runners must be at least 18 years of age on September 16th, 2012
- Course cutoff for all Full marathon/Fall Final 20 runners is SIX hours. Runners must be able to maintain a 13:45 minute per mile pace.
All Half marathon runners must be able to maintain a 15:00 minute per mile pace. (3 hours 16 minutes finish cutoff.)
- Registration fees increase at 11PM Central Time on the last day listed for each time period.
- Read the Registration FAQs.

Weather Flex Option™, and a
second marathon of your choosing 2 to 4 weeks after Fox Valley (Second race registration not included in Fox Valley Marathon registration.)

Registration FAQ’s:
Does Weather Flex mean you will sign me up for another fall marathon as my second one?
No, if you wish to use Weather Flex as either a long training run or your ‘go for it’ marathon the second marathon would be your responsibility to register for.
I was injured last summer and couldn’t complete the full marathon. Would I be able to switch to the half this year if the same thing happens?
We hate to hear about any runner’s injury and we’ve all been there at one time or another. If you are injured, or if the summer’s training was too hot or didn’t go well for you or for any reason you don’t want to run the full marathon use your Weather Flex Option™ to move to the Half or Fall Final 20.
I signed up for the Weather Flex Option™, can I change to a different race during the race?
No, you must make your choice at packet pickup where you will be presented with 3 different packets specifically for you, one for each race. After that you must run the race you chose or you will be disqualified.
I heard about the Weather Flex Option™ from another runner and think it’s a great idea. Can I upgrade my registration to it and pay the difference?
No, unfortunately you must decide at registration whether you want to have the Weather Flex Option™. We strongly recommend runners consider whether they would want this option before they register.
I registered for the Half Marathon and now want to run the Full Marathon. Can I do that with the Weather Flex Option™?
There are no transfers or race upgrades so you would have to register for Weather Flex up front. If runners are unsure what distance they will be ready for in the fall we strongly suggest choosing Weather Flex when you register.
