Fox Valley Marathon Training Runs are back !

We are looking for additional pace guides for each of our full and half pace groups. No pace is too slow.

Unlike street marathons, Fox Valley's course along the river trails
gives runners the chance to experience the actual race course all summer long.
The race committee and local sponsors will host a series of 6 weekend morning runs on the course,
- beginning with a 10 mile run on Sunday, June 23, (5 miles for half marathoners)
- adding 2 miles every other weekend
- and finishing with a 20 mile run on Saturday, August 31; 3 weeks before Race Day.

By the end of the series, you will have run the entire Fox Valley Marathon course,
making your race day marathon as comfortable and familiar as possible.
The runs will include pace guides running near 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12+ minutes per mile,
and cost nothing to join.
The runs were a big hit in previous years so
we are anxious to see some familiar faces, make some new friends, and show off our revised course along the beautiful Fox River trails
and through our host communities.
