event infoJoin us for the fourth annual Fox Valley Marathon, Half Marathon and Fall Final 20™ runs on September 22, 2013 in one of the premier fall running events in Chicago land.

Combining small race atmosphere with big race amenities, the Fox Valley Marathon is an ideal marathon for both veterans looking for a fast course to qualify for the Boston Marathon (21% of 2011 runners qualified) as well as first time marathoners looking for an uncrowded, supportive, family-friendly race setting. (23% of 2011 runners were first timers).

Whether you’re looking for a last shot at Boston Qualification, to augment your training for the Chicago Marathon, or for a hassle-free, fun, picturesque and fully supported race day, the three courses wind along flat, tree lined roads and paths overlooking the scenic Fox River.

The Fox Valley Marathon is the right race for the right reason for the right person - YOU.  Starting and ending in historic downtown St Charles, IL, the course winds through picturesque Geneva, Batavia, North Aurora, and Aurora to a spectacular finish across the Fox River that can be seen from over a mile away.  The course offers fantastic viewing spots for families and supporters, as well as frequent and well positioned aid stations that are staffed by the most supportive volunteer teams of any race you’ve run.

All 3 of last year’s races sold out, and our 2012 runners loved our course, our volunteers, our host communities, and everything about the Fox Valley Marathon.  (See runner comments.)
